Practice Areas
Trademark & Trade Secret Litigation
Mr. Burke advises clients regarding the protection of trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, and other proprietary information. He helps clients enforce intellectual property rights against violators, defend against claims or infringement, and assert claims for breach of licensing and other intellectual property agreements.
Guardianships
The appointment of a guardian for an incapacitated person is one of the more serious areas of the law. There is a good reason for this. In considering the appointment of a guardian, judges recognize that the court is being asked to remove an individual’s most basic rights – namely, the right to choose what to do with his person or finances.
Employment Law
Mr. Burke does not limit his employment practice to representing either management or employees. He has seen enough to know that neither side of the management-worker relationship has the market cornered on virtue. He takes some pride in his decision – he does not stand up for causes, but rather represents clients.
Estates & Trusts Litigation
Mr. Burke is committed to helping clients protect, preserve and control their assets during their lives, even if they become disabled. He also works with clients to help them implement a plan which will pass on their estates to loved ones in the manner they want – while minimizing the cost of Federal Estate, State Inheritance and Federal Estate Income taxes.
Commercial Litigation
A critical tool in protecting your company’s interests, litigation can also be used to attack those same vital interests – often putting your entire life’s work at risk, and leaving your future uncertain.
Mr. Burke is uncompromisingly committed to providing clients with the upper hand – utilizing the advantage that comes from years of experience, and dedication to helping you achieve your overall goals.
